A slow week for US Congress as they navigate the same restrictions facing the rest of us! Still, a couple votes were taken:
H.R. 6322: Student Veteran Coronavirus Response Act of 2020
PASSED with no objections in the House; no individual votes recorded
S.J.Res. 66: A joint resolution providing for the appointment of Denise O’Leary as a citizen regent of the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution.
PASSED House with unanimous consent, no individual votes recorded
UPCOMING ISSUES
Basically nothing on the schedule for Congress this week, except for a hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee. They’ll be reviewing budget items for the Dept. of Energy, and something called the Future Years Defense Program (basically DOD’s planning document).
