| We have endorsed candidates for State Office, Congress, and Lake County Sheriff. There are some terrific candidates this cycle. Our process for issuing endorsements:Most or all of us meet with the candidate to learn about their values, issues that they consider are most important, how involved they are with the community they will serve, what in their experience or background makes them suited for the position, how well and how often they communicate with constituents, etc.We also look at their websites and social media to learn as much as we can about them.Candidates we endorse generally align with the values of Indivisibles—especially public education, childcare, affordable healthcare for everyone, livable wages, affordability, women’s reproductive healthcare, voting rights, a vibrant social safety net. In other words, we advocate for candidates who share our view that government must work for everyone, providing all of us an equal opportunity to succeed and thrive. |

| Ballotpedia and VOTE411 are great sources to learn what districts you live in and which candidates will be on your ballot. VOTE411 is from the League of Women Voters and includes information about each office on the ballot, candidate information, stances on issues directly from the candidates themselves. Visit your voter portal at indianavoters.com to check your registration, learn who is on your ballot and where to vote, both early and also on election day. |
| **Early voting begins Oct. 6. Go to www.indianavoters.com for times and locations for early voting. There you can also see who is on your ballot and where to vote, both early and on Election Day. **Help someone register to vote. It’s easy. Go to www.indianavoters.com to register. The last day to register to vote in Indiana is Oct. 5. **If you can’t vote early in person or on election day, apply to vote by absentee ballot by mail. The deadline to apply is Oct. 22 and the absentee ballot must arrive at the County Elections Office by Nov. 3 by 6pm. There are only a handful of reasons you may vote by mail. Be sure to read through them to make sure you qualify. Go to www.indianavoters.com to apply for your mail in ballot. **If you or someone you know cannot to leave home to vote, you may vote by traveling board. A bipartisan team will bring a voting machine to your home so that you can vote. The Traveling Board Application deadline is noon Nov. 2. **There are also voting options for those with print disabilities, an individual who is unable to independently mark a paper ballot or ballot card due to blindness, low vision, or a physical disability that impairs manual dexterity.
