Join Us for No Kings 3 in Highland

We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. Indivisible NWI has partnered with veterans groups to rally for democracy.

We’ll have a few speakers in front of the memorial at noon, then lots of rallying, chanting and singing. Join us for an afternoon of inspiration, fun, comradarie and activism!

We’ll be in Highland on the SE corner of Ridge and 41 at the Highway of Flags Veterans Memorial. Limited parking, along with handicapped spots, is available behind the memorial. If the lot is full, park at Wicker Park and rally on the NW corner of Ridge and 41. Or park in the old Ultra parking lot on 41 and rally on the NE corner of Ridge & 41.

Let us know you’re coming and register here. And bring a friend!

We will collect food pantry donations–and socks for the unhoused. We’ll come to all the corners to collect any donations, to distribute water & to check in with folks.

We have a safety team in place–they will be wearing yellow vests. We have a permit for 10-3. Both the Highland Police Dept. and the Lake County Sheriff’s Dept. have been notified of this large event and will send extra patrols.
We recommend that you view ACLU’s Know Your Protest Rights and Safety Training. You can find the recording here.
Bring your signs & your passion. We’ll protest peacefully. Don’t engage with folks who disagree.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
