*Tuesday, November 8 is the General Election!
The deadline to register to vote is October 11!. Register and/or help someone else to register. Even if you are sure you are registered, check your registration–Indiana is notorious for purging voters. Just go to your Voter Portal at https://indianavoters.in.gov/ or www.indianavoters.com. You can also go to Vote 411, which is a one stop site for elections information from the League of Women Voters. From all those sites you can check your registration, find your polling place for Election Day, view your ballot, and, if you qualify, request a mail in absentee ballot. Acceptable criteria for a mail in ballot are listed when you request one; you can request one now; the deadline for the county elections office to receive your completed ballot is by noon on Nov. 8.
Early voting in person begins October 12. You may vote early at any early voting location in your county of residence. Find your county below.
Porter County Early Voting Locations and Hours
Early Voting opens on October 12th and continues through NOON on November 7th. Dates and times for all early voting locations are:
- Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Saturday October 29 & November 5 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Early voting ends at Noon on Monday, November 7th.
