Rally every Saturday, 12-1, at Highland’s Veteran’s Memorial, SE corner of Ridge & 41 in Highland. Indivisible NWI has partnered with veterans to do the work to make sure our voices are heard. The administration and republicans are taking everything they can get their hands on—our health care, our data, our jobs, our services—and daring the world to stop them. This is a crisis, and we’re taking action every Saturday at 12pm! Please let us know you are coming and sign up here.

5 calls is the easiest way to be active every day. Download the app to your phone or use it right from your computer. Background info, scripts and congressional phone numbers are provided. It couldn’t be easier!: https://5calls.org/

We’ve been busy with more events and actions already planned. Join us and be part of the movement to save our democracy and uphold progressive values.

Indivisible NWI, along with the SEIU (Service Employees International Union) hosted a townhall with State Senator Rodney Pol. They heard an update of the 2025 legislative session along with a discussion of the state of our state.

We’ve rallied:

We’ve held many informative events:

Buffy Adams from IYG that serves LGBTQ+ youth and has just opened a facility in Schererville. Learn more about IYG here.

Martin DelRio talking with us about administration impacts to veterans services

We’ve held tabling events with many more planned during the summer. When we table we register new voters and engage in civics education–from where to find your polling place and ballot to how a bill is passed to the three branches of government and what each does. We use conversation, games, and handouts. We always need more volunteers. It’s easy–and gratifying to be doing something so measurably good for democracy.

We volunteer in the community. Volunteers are always needed!

And much more events planned every month!
